recent revelation

I read in a description of the Millennial generation (that'd be those 25 and under) the most perfect, succinct statement about us:

"frenetic multitaskers"

What else could we be?

Besides the fact that I had to look up what "frenetic" means...i was quite relieved when discovering that it is true that we are WILDLY ACTIVE multitaskers!! Therefore you are right; there is nothing else left for us to be. hmmm...we should discuss this again later. As for now I'm sure we have 12 other things to do!

I went to a seminar on working with Millenials, even though I'm right on the border. They say we have attributes of Generation X and the Millenials. Evidently the cutoff year is 1982.

Anyway. . .I remember the part about multitasking and definitely agreed. I didn't identify so much with the part about being completely unable to work alone.

Yeah, Liz, I agree with you. Working alone is how I prefer - aligning us with Gen. X. But I can do 15 things at once, and whether or not I prefer it that way, I can still get things accomplished at that rate.

I've had to sit in on those conference things too. I have characteristics of Millenials, Gen-X and the previous generation. The think the last might have something to do with me being the oldest and hanging around adults all the time when I was a kid.

In church last Sunday, my pastor mentioned that "Mulit-tasking is the enemy of excellence," which made me feel better about my complete lack of multi-task-abilities.
