As promised, pictures of Kyle's new car. He loves it!2005 Ford Focus, manual transmission, power everything else, plus moonroof and traction control.
The downsides are: terrible windshield wipers, 4 warped brakes, 2 ridiculously worthless tires, and a 6-disc CD changer that doesn't work.
So, even though it cost a bit more than we wanted, it's a great used car. And, despite the fact that we've had to shell out to fix some of the issues, we're happy he has a "better" car than he had before. Plus, our insurance was fantastic to work with. Shock, surprise.

look at that gloriously snow-free yard. sigh. I'm officially tired of warming winter soups.
Jim and I are talking about moving somewhere West Coastish; this weather isn't making a strong case against it.
Also, your car is lovely. And I miss you.
