"Please pray for Forever and John* as they have just gotten engaged."
I thought to myself - did he just say Forever? Was that girl's name Forever?
Upon asking my friend who's church we were attending, I found it was true. This was the explanation.
A family in that town had the last name of Sweet.
Their daughters were named:
~Forever
~Very
~Always
My immediate response was, "They named their daughters adverbs?"
Despite my well-meaning friend's attempts to convince me it wasn't that strange to have children named FOREVER, VERY, and ALWAYS, I'm quite sure that it's the most unfortunate thing I've heard in a while.
I'll never understand why parents torment their children with bad names.
*not sure what the his name actually was

I appreciate the story again. Thanks for the laughs.
What in the WORLD?!
That sounds like a fake story.
Ridiculous.
that's just a little creepy. i used to think people who named their kids after seasons and technical music terms were weird...
Lana, I totally agree - those are most unfortunate and bad names. I do not understand parents need to make their child's whole existence more difficult all because of a name. I know of a family that named their twins Oranjello and Lemonjello - they prounounces them as one word and with softer 'j' sound but when it comes down to it, they named their children Orange jello and Lemon jello. Ugh!
naming your kids after jello is strange.
