I forgot to mention the 4th thing that made me nervous in the wedding.
#4) When the officiante said my most hateful word not once, but twice in his less than ten minute charge to the bride and groom. I thought I was going to fall over. Elaine was laughing so hard behind me, she was shaking, and across the aisle, Ben, the guy I walked down with, he was laughing, too. They both knew I was struggling to contain my revulsion.

Lana,
I am very glad we finally met each other.
I know we don't walk by each other very often any more, but I'm glad that now, when we do, we can actually say hello rather than just give each other a shy smile that says "I know I know you but I don't actually formally officially know you so all we can do is smile instead of saying hello and asking how you are."
I feel so liberated.
Please forgive me for my social awkwardness that kept us from meeting sooner.
I don't know what just happened, but that last comment was from me, nathan shorb, in case you couldn't figure it out, but I'm sure you can, so nevermind.
I was wondering for a second, Nate, but then I figured it out. I'm so glad we officially met, too. And, that I was able to meet your wife. I have heard so many wonderful things about you both, it was time.
