It's the Friday before Spring Break and there really aren't any students left who need help. It should be a quiet day, my interactions with students being minimal.

All I can say is: it's a good thing. Because after I got to work this morning, I realized I'm wearing the exact same thing I wore yesterday. As if I've created a uniform, of sorts.

I love Gap Outlets and I go at least once a year to get a) plain, v-neck, nice t-shirts and b) khaki cords. This year I found the equivalent of what I bought last year - slightly different but for all intents and purposes, the same "uniform". I bought the cords, again, and three of the t-shirts (if I like something, I get it in every color).

Holy crap. I'm a loser.

The only difference between the two days is the color of the accessories: yesterday, I had a black sweater and black shoes and belt. Today, it's all brown.

I blame the late night and the difficulty I had getting out of bed this morning. When I realized that very few students would be needing help, I said - I'll be comfortable today. Naturally, last year's cords are my most favorite, most comfortable pants. The plain v-neck T is standard fare for me. I have 6 of them, 3 from last year, 3 from this year. Thus the uniform.

Think I'll make sure not to do this again. It's so unprofessional.
