Today brought a multitude of worst ideas ever. Here are the two most worth talking about:
#1) Find a new route home from school:
I chose to do this a) while wearing shoes that are not hike-friendly (especially if by hike I mean 2 1/2 miles); and b) in 84 degree weather, c) while carrying a backpack loaded with a binder, book, and unnecessary fleece, because I'm always over-prepared.
Not only did I get lost in suburbia, or what excuse B-town has for suburbia, which necessitated my walking nearly a mile out of the way, but I was sweaty starving wreck with throbbing feet when I got home. I've been hobbling around ever since. Lovely picture.
#2) Watch movies and eat pizza:
While the alternative was a night out with quasi-strangers (and a friend) and a male stripper (thanks for the invite), I chose to order a large pizza with cheese bread, drink rum and coke, and watch sad movies by myself. All the while, tornadoes continue to rage in this crazy state.
Had I known ahead of time that this city lies directly in the path of Tornado Alley, I may have chosen another university in which to pursue my degree. Like Arizona - somewhere Arizona - where the worst thing that happens is fire. At least you can know when it's coming!

Pizza, beverage and movies at home by yourself? Can't say how many times I've done that. I just got back from a tripple header at the movie theater. I call that a good night
did i ever tell you my friend is the director of campus library services at grand canyon university?
no, no you didn't tell me that about your friend, Chalupa. Put in a good word?!!
hello? the stripper? doesn't anyone see the huge mistake she made?
